Crocheted Easter Baskets

Crocheted Easter Baskets

Thank you so much for sharing!

It’s Tip Tuesday and in todays tippy video, I share some basket options. Easter is almost upon us and you still have some time to crochet some baskets! These would also be great for Mother’s Day or a birthday, so don’t feel like you missed out 😉

Here’s a lovely crochet basket with macrame cord and a beautiful trim!

I used the basic basket pattern from this video:

And in today’s video I show you how to make the picot edge and exactly what yarn and diameter of the base of the basket to create these 3 basket options.

This basket is nice and large with an 11 inch diameter.  I used the Yarnspirations Bernat home-dec yarn for this basket in cream and L hook – whatever yarn you pick, use the package recommended hook size. I love this as an Easter basket option, minimal candy and loads of creativity!  You would include a brand new watercolor set of course ;).

This basket was made in less than 30 minutes using the Buttercream thick and thin yarn in green purchased from Joann Fabrics.

Here is a similar yarn.

The third basket was made using scraps of Bernat Blanket yarn, this only used 2 rounds to create this tiny basket ;). Perfect size for some candy and a gift card! Of course, you can make it as large as you wish.

Here is the video with all the tips and modifications! Enjoy!
