How to Make Burp Cloths from Vintage Hankies

Thank you so much for sharing!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today, I am kicking off the first video and project in my new baby series!  My bestie (who also lives next door) is having her 2nd baby girl next month and to celebrate, I am going to make her a bunch of handmade baby items and share those tutorials with you!  My bestie, Ashley, asked me to help make some burp cloths from these vintage handkerchiefs that she had found at a flea market and from a friend as one of the projects, so that is what I’m sharing with you today!

Materials:
Pretty Handkerchiefs (If you don’t have any or don’t want to use those, use some cotton prints. If its not too thin you can skip the interfacing step)
Pellon SF101 for interfacing
Terry Cloth (chenille, cloth diapers work as well)
Coordinating thread
Iron and Ironing board
Pins

Here is my and my bestie of the last 15 years!  We have known each other since high school and stayed close even though I moved away for a long time! She also helps me with my social media and the business a few hours a week, so its fun to have her involved in my endeavors, at least a little!

Here is the video tutorial!!
