I wanted to participate in the Bloggers’ Quilt Festival this fall and enter in my Ainsley Star Quilt.
I love this quilt. I made this quilt for my daughter Ainsley who was born in June. I take it with me when I go places for her to play on… she loves to touch the stars and look at all the patterns.
I really enjoyed the process of making this quilt. I loved picking the fabric, deciding on a pattern and then cutting and sewing everything together. I think the star pattern is traditional and timeless but the reverse star on the back adds a bit of unexpected modernity. I hope she grows to love it as much as I do.
