My Mom decided to do the Craftsy Block of the Month and asked if I would want to do it too, I said sure! So I did the January blocks yesterday. Basically it’s 2 different blocks each month and they have a video that teaches you how to do it. This one is free, but Craftsy has tons of other online sewing classes where you can learn new skills, but those cost. These are my 2 blocks…
This is the wonky pound sign block. I’m not usually a “wonky” fan, but this one was ok ;).
The asterisk. My seams got a little bunchy in the center but I like how the print I chose gets expanded out by the white. This print is fun too ;).

Those turned out very nicely! I've been admiring these blocks and thing I might give them a try this week. I like how the fabric was expanded in your second block too, that's pretty neat!
