Hi Everyone! Today I have a new tutorial for you, an easy cotton crochet washcloth! The great thing about this pattern is that you can make it any size you like! Make it for a baby, little kid or even your kitchen.
Materials:
1 ball of cotton yarn
Coordinating hook (check package of yarn for recommended hook size)
yarn needle
scissors
These are my favorite hook sets whether you want ergonomic or standard.
Written Instructions:
Slip knot, make your foundation chain a multiple of 2 or an even number.
Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook, ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch and repeat to the end of the foundation chains. There should be a sc in the last ch.
Row 2: ch 1 and turn, sc in first stitch and then sc in ch-1 space, ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp and repeat… sc in last stitch
Row 3: ch 1 and turn, sc in first stitch and then ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp and repeat. sc in last stitch.
*alternate row 2 and 3 until desired size is reached.
Cut thread and weave in ends with the yarn needle.
