First Embroidery Project

Thank you so much for sharing!

I am so excited that my embroidery sampler is complete!  I finished it a few days ago and yesterday was able to frame it out and add some loops so I could display it over my sewing table.  Here’s a few pics!

Here it is nice and big so you can see all of my imperfections!  I had tons of fun doing this sampler.  I need lots more practice, but I feel like I have some experience under my belt now.

I framed it in Kona Sky and added some loops for hanging.

A little closer

I backed in some premium unbleached muslin and labeled it with my frixion pen.

There it is!  I’ve already got some other fun embroidery projects in the works… 😉

Love this! Embroidery is so lovely and fun - and a nice break from the sewing machine!

I just LOVE this!!!! Can I ask where the design came from? I'd love to create this for my own sewing room. Hope you don't mind, but I've pinned this.
