Hmmmm

Thank you so much for sharing!

Well friends, we’re all friends here right?  Then you can tell me what you really think of this wreath.  I’m not sure about it.  I don’t love it, that’s for sure – which is a bummer cause I spent waaaaay too much time on this if that’s the case.  But I don’t think I hate it.  I feel like it needs more (like flowers) but less at the same time since the crochet is complicated and varied.  Anyway, here it is.

I used all scraps of yarn I already had, so all I had to buy was the wreath form.  I put batting around it, wrapped it in ivory yarn and then created the crocheted strips with various techniques.

Maybe I should stick to sewing lol!  I’m headed to the craft store today, so maybe I’ll pick up another form and try something else that feels a little more modern and that I Love!  Anyway, happy Saturday!

i think it's an awesome start. i'd probably add some fresh cut seasonal plants like sprigs of holly, mistletoe, or dried leaves/flowers for fall.

Hi there! I am subscribed to your blog! This is very nice. I also agree it needs something. I'm sure one of the craft stores will offer some ideas but I think on the bottom or off to the side one or two simple flowers would be really nice. Like Victoria said too in the prior comment; maybe a little bird (seems popular in the States??) would be cute. In other words, yes, it needs something but not too much. All in all, it is up to you and what makes you happy! Great job!!!

I think it's cute. I do think it needs something. Maybe in one of the bottom corners you can add a few flowers and maybe a little ornamental bird.
