Hi Melanie,
I’m fairly new to quilting and am a little confused about the seam allowance when cutting a square. If you are cutting a 5” square for a block piece, do you add the 1/4” SA to that or making it actually a 5 1/2” square, orjust cut a straight 5”?
I have searched but cannot find the answer to this. Thanks for your help!
