Hey Everyone! You might notice my blog looks a little bit different up there in the header ;). As much as I love Benefit and Bless, I’ve decided to rename this blog I Heart Stitching to create a little more cohesion with my YouTube Channel. My etsy shop will remain Benefit and Bless and I will put items in there as much as possible, but YouTube is really what has been successful for me so I am moving in that direction if that makes sense. Nothing will change around here though! Last weekend I was able to attend Craft South and had a blast! Here are a few photos and my latest video that explains all about it… plus a haul to show you everything I brought home!
About to get on my red eye at LAX… traveling handmade and AMH of course!
Me and my Mom… so glad she was able to come on this trip! She had brain surgery at the end of May! Glad she is getting better 😉
Anna Maria Horner and Amy Butler in front of Anna’s color dive quilt… this was night 1
We did a color workshop with Amy Butler on Saturday. She really encouraged us to explore our creativity and think outside the box… or not really think at all – just pick what we liked and go from there.
Anna Maria’s Mod Corsage Block… anyone going to QuiltCon? She is teaching a class on this!
Anna showing how to hand applique with her Frida Kahlo photo bomb poof 😉
We ate dinner Saturday night at Anna’s home and had a studio tour… in my dreams I have a studio like this! She even had live blue grass music 😉
I mean… just dreamy.
Awesome work surface with some hints out for her next fabric collection 😉
My and Amy Butler… what a sweetie she is!
Some more demonstration… she showed us some hand quilting too – trying it out on my next quilt!
Loved every minute of this weekend! Totally fangirling right here!
Haha, so fun!
Hope you guys enjoyed my little behind the scenes look at Craft South. Here is my video with a haul! Click HERE if you can’t see the video. Happy Stitching!
