I would love to purchase your friend's wood ruler. It is a perfect growth chart for my kids. What is her website, etsy, contact info? I live in the Long Beach area so I can also meet her to pick it up, since I am sure it is not something she would want to send by mail.

M - your items are perfect for a Junior League Christmas Bazzar. In Texas there are many and I would think California as well. Check them out. I would imagine that they have websites to see when their events are. Now is too late for this year, but work on auditioning your items to get in on next year, I'm sure you will do great.
