Simple Patchwork Clutch Tutorial

Simple Patchwork Clutch Tutorial

Thank you so much for sharing!

Hey Everyone!

I am super excited about this project that I just completed over on my YouTube channel… I love it when projects turn out the way you have envisioned them!  This is a very simple clutch, following a lot of the same construction I do with my bag tutorials, but this little clutch features a patchwork outer panel as well as a cute little handle done in a modern way.  Let me know what you think!?  WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS BELOW!

Hi! I really like this bag. I plan on making it this weekend, but I was wondering if you ever have any trouble with the lining not staying flush with the outer bag during use? Thanks.

Hi, Melanie! I have a question about the quilted clutch you made a tutorial for. After I have ironed the interfacing on the pieced piece and made the handle I am confused as to the next step, I.e. What the layers consist of primarily what is on the bottom that you then put your pieced piece on and then the zipper. would you please explain that to me? Thanks so much!

so glad I found your blog since FQS featured your video! I love this clutch and think I will have to make one. I will have to use my Anna Maria Horner fabric. which, by the way I am so envious you went to Craft South! what a great feature you shared on it. so glad your mom is doing well after her surgery (what a blessing t have her around still - I lost my mom at age 25, it was so hard and still is since I miss her). anyway, I AM going to Quiltcon since I live outside of Austin, how lucky am I?!?! and of course I am in AMH's mod corsage class, ALL DAY! I am so excited about it!
