Valentine Date Night Style

Hey Everyone!  I love style, fun clothes and make-up.  Being in front of the camera so often has pushed me to expand my wardrobe and learn some new makeup techniques!  I love making things and being creative, so this blog will always focus mainly on that, but I like to share some style posts now and then as well 😉

Valentine’s Day is coming up.  My husband and I aren’t huge Valentine’s Day people, our anniversary is near the end of January and when we lived far away, it was sometimes hard to get babysitters on Valentine’s Day!  Even still, I thought it would be fun to show you what I would wear on Valentine’s Day or a fun date night.

I love a high bun, its easy and a little romantic.  I also love a statement necklace to spruce up a simple shirt.  This necklace is from Stitch Fix which I am a huge fan of.

I live in Southern California, but while it is very warm compared to most of the rest of the country (especially this year), it gets chilly at night so I decided to style this look with some of my favorite pants.  These are definitely appropriate for a date night or night out with the quilted faux leather stripe, but they are comfortable and easy to wear and I personally like a little edge in my style.  These pants are also from Stitch Fix.

And of course, a red lip is also great for special date nights.  I don’t often do a bold color lip, so it feels extra fancy when I do!  This lip color is a mix of the tarte lipsurgence lip tint in enchanted and Lipstick Queen in velvet rope black tie.  The lipstick queen lipstick is a beautiful lipstick and lasts forever, but thankfully mine was a gift because it’s pricey!
