I recently made 2 dresses for myself, the first dresses that I actually wanted to wear! I have made some duds in the past. So, with the help of my bff (our closets and her camera) we went to take some photos of my new dresses. Today, I am going to show you some of my favorite shots of The Staple Dress. You can find it here. It’s a very simple dress with simple construction and even though I have sewing experience I don’t have a lot of garment experience and this went smoothly. Although, I did make it once before but my fabric choice was unfortunate ;( so I was much happier with the outcome of this dress ;). I had a little fun with the styling of this outfit, I borrowed the hat, jewelry and belt and my sister gave me the red lipstick in a little goody bag – I have never worn red lipstick before! It was fun to dress a little different than my norm… hope you enjoy!
