Robert again, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy 2023!

In this month’s blog I wanted to share two popular projects that remind me of Melanie during the winter season from her archives: Absolute Beginner Crochet Hat – Matches Mittens and Beginner Friendly Crochet Mittens . 

Ainsley was so excited to help model Melanie’s hat and mittens and she knew exactly where they were. She has a little cubby with all her mom’s crochet projects.

It was a happy moment for her to wear them as they keep her so toasty and also remind her of her mom.

Beginner-Friendly Crochet Projects

Melanie loved making these cozy hats and mittens!

I remember when she finished them for our trip to Montana a couple of years ago when she accompanied me on a work trip.

It was freezing outside but Melanie put on her warm gloves and hat and followed me all around the snowy woods while I gathered film footage for a HAMMR Productions project.

We snapped some fun photos on that trip for her blog and socials, and it was a wonderful time together.

Busy Hands and Listening Ear

One of Melanie’s favorite things was listening to me, her friends or our children talk about whatever we had on our minds while she worked on her quilt and crochet projects.

These crocheted mittens and hats are such a warm reminder of how much love she put into every project and they’re so cute!
