I know its after the new year and we are done with Christmas, but I finished my Christmas Quilt! I wanted to finish by Christmas, but I got pretty sick and also had company, so the quilt went on the back burner. I really love how it turned out and am looking forward to snuggling with it next Christmas!
Snowball Christmas Quilt
62 x 69
Fabric used: fat eighth bundle of Aneela Hoey’s Cherry Christmas for Moda and 2 yards of Moda Bella in Scarlet, plus some additional yardage from the line for the back and binding
I used Quilters Dream batting
Red Aurifil Thread
It has been windy and rainy for days now so I had to take some indoor pictures for this quilt. (I attached it to a curtain rod!)
Here is some close up of the quilting. I did very lose quilting. I wanted to see how the drape would be and I wanted it to be really snuggly. Sometimes quilts with lots of quilting can be a bit stiffer.
I hope you like my Christmas Quilt! My kids were fighting over it about 2 seconds after it was out of the dryer and my husband requested it be big enough for it to cover him (he’s tall!) so the whole family is very excited about it. I really love that I can make fun things for my family to enjoy.
