Many crochet projects start off with a magic circle or sometimes called a magic ring. It makes it so that you can make the center really tight and not be left with a hole at the center of your crocheted in the round project! I have 2 projects coming up that use the magic circle, so I decided to make a video dedicated to learning the technique. When I was a beginner, I found this very confusing, so don’t feel bad if you do too! Just rewind the video and try it out a few more times to get the hang of it ;).
