Kids Room typography

Thank you so much for sharing!

Hey Everyone!  Happy Wednesday… I just got home from a brisk morning walk and now I’m sipping some coffee.  I wanted to share with you some things I’ve been working on for the kids room.

First of all… the typography!  I love it!  The colors are great and I love having something so personalized, professional and fun in the kids room (well, Baby A doesn’t sleep in there yet, but all her stuff is in there besides her crib, so once she is more consistently sleeping well at night she’ll be in there too!)

My friend Emily did the typography for me.  She is a fantastic photographer from back home in SoCal and has and etsy shop where she has fun typography available.

Isn’t this just so fun!  To keep the cost down, Emily recommended having it printed on posterboard at Costco.  So this is an 11 x 14, ahem $14.99 posterboard!  I just attached it to the wall with some Command velcro thingys and wahlah!

I also made these fun bird images… tutorial coming Friday ;).

Hint: these are cut out from Baby A’s bedding.  It will be fun that her bedding is incorporated into the decor of the room when she starts sleeping in there.  It’s also fairly gender neutral… at least with the colors.

Eventually I’ll get some other fun accessories to put on the dresser, but this is what it looks like right now, so that’s how I photographed it!  I think some fun lime green frames with pictures of our family would be great here!
