Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. Today I’ve got a quick, easy and super fun no sew apron for a classy hostess gift idea. Well you will need to sew on a button, but just a needle and thread is needed, no need for a machine. My Grandma Saundra thought I would like this idea and shared it with me.
First, start with a generous sized dishtowel. Mine is a Crate & Barrel Sereno and measures 20 x 30.
Then attach 2 buttons, one in each top corner. Make sure they have a shank. If the buttons you choose do not have one, you can make one – here is a site that walk you through it.
Tie a ribbon around each button. My ribbon measures around 50 inches each. Use fraycheck on the ends of the ribbon. Best to be able to remove the ribbons for washing.
Here it is! It’s a great size and the ribbon is nice and long to tie around the front and tie in a bow.
