Hey Everyone! Do you have a design board in your creative space? If you don’t, be sure to check out this video – it is a great asset to have wether you are a graphic designer, fine artist, crafter or quilter. I covered mine in white flannel so that I could place my small pieces of fabric in my desired layout on the board when i am working on a quilt or small sewing project. It is a great resource to be able to put your work up on the board and take a step back and examine it from a distance. Here are a few photos… I hope this inspires you to utilize this creative solution in your studio space!
My design wall is made up of 2 panels as you can see in the video. They are very lightweight, so I simply nailed them into the wall. This design wall measures about 82 inches wide by 71 inches tall.
Check out the size of this board! So nice to have it in my studio space.

I'm trying to make my design wall and when I went to the hardware store I noticed the insulation boards come in different thicknesses. How thick are your boards? I didn't want to get the thinnest since it seems to bow and flex a bit at that size. Thanks!

Love the design wall ...I have one that goes ceiling to floor. However, I recently fell off a 3step stool while getting to the top of the design...2 weeks in the hospital and 2 weeks In rehab, I'm 10 weeks in a wheel chair after breaking my tibia!!! So be careful!!
