Notes

I used the Red Heart Hygge yarn, but please feel free to use the yarn that you are drawn to. My granny square is 5 inches, but different yarns will yield a slightly different size. That's ok! Your stocking can totally be a little larger or a little smaller.

Here is the yarn that I used. It is the red heart hygge and comes in really great shades. If you are a brand new crocheter, I recommend picking a yarn that is not so fuzzy so that you can see your stitch. If you have made a few projects and feel comfortable with the double crochet stitch, then I think you could handle this yarn.

This granny square is similar to the one from the crochet granny square mug cozy pattern and video. If you are loving making these granny squares, that would be a great project!

The best crochet hook

I haven’t highlighted these hooks on the blog for awhile, if you are looking for some crochet hooks, these are my favorite because they are so lightweight. I can crochet for a lot longer before my hands and wrists get fatigued with these hooks.

Here’s a pin you can save for later! I hope you enjoyed this project!
